Dr. Clark specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a non-surgical specialty. Physical medicine consists partly of doing electrodiagnostic studies, frequently referred to as nerve tests.

She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Philosophy from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. She remained in Johnson City and obtained her Doctor of Medicine from James H. Quillen College of Medicine. Dr. Clark completed her internship at East Tennessee State University in the Department of Internal Medicine. For her residency, she moved to Columbia, Missouri where she trained at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Clark joined Columbia Orthopaedic Group in 1993. Her focus is on the non-surgical conservative care of many conditions affecting muscles, nerves, joints, spine or skeletal system and the central nervous system in all age groups. She treats conditions from plantar fasciitis, herniated discs and carpal tunnel syndrome, to amputees, head and spinal cord injuries and congenital conditions. She also has a special interest in post-polio syndrome and osteoporosis.

Dr. Clark is board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She is also a member of numerous committees and organizations including the American Medical Association, American Medical Athletic Association, Missouri State Medical Association-Commission on Public Affairs, and the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She remains active in research, presentations, and medical professional affiliations.

Other individuals working directly on Dr. Clark's team are her nurse and administrative assistant, Jennifer Halterman.

Dr. Clark and her husband Craig, who is a rancher, have two children. She is a triathlete and enjoys running, gardening, traveling, and church activities.
