About
Dr. Berrey attended Northeast Missouri State (now Truman State) in Kirksville, Mo where she earned her BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She then earned her Master of Arts in Education in Secondary Science. She taught high school Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Biology for 11 years in Kirksville, Mo. Dr. Berrey and her husband also owned a golf driving range called The Rock Pile for 10 years. 

Dr. Berrey then attended medical school at AT Still University in Kirksville, Mo where she earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Anesthesiology in Kirksville, Mo at Northeast Regional Medical Center. 

In 2015, Dr. Berrey and family moved to Columbia, Mo and worked at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital for 1.5 years. She then joined Jefferson City Medical group and their Outpatient Surgery Center for 4 years. 

In 2021, Dr. Berrey joined Mid Missouri Anesthesia Inc. at The Surgical Center at Columbia Orthopaedic Group. 

Dr. Berrey is a member of American Society of Anesthesiologists, Missouri Society of Anesthesiologists, Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and American Osteopathic Association. 

Personal Interests
Dr. Berrey is married to Jim who is the Senior Director of Marketing at Missouri Farm Bureau. He is also a PGA teaching professional. They have 3 daughters: Serena, Haleigh and Jayden. The girls are all collegiate scholarship golfers at Drury, Columbia College and Rockhurst University. Dr. Berrey enjoys spending time with family, watching the girls play golf, and golfing as a family. She also enjoys reading, jogging and hot yoga. They are members at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
