Dr. Bradford Noble is an accomplished Pain Management Physician with special interest and expertise in advanced, minimally-invasive pain management procedures. Born in Philadelphia and raised in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he watched his mother give selflessly to the needy in his community. This spirit, ingrained in Dr. Noble, has guided him in his lifelong quest to promote pain awareness and continually advocate for those who suffer silently in pain.
Dr. Noble pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware before launching into a career dedicated to relieving pain and helping people live life to the fullest. Dr. Noble completed his medical degree at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he learned the importance of a holistic approach to caring for people, always considering the mind, body and spirit of his patients. Dr. Noble's commitment to pain management led him next to the University of Missouri where he successfully completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. During his residency training, Dr. Noble spent six months serving as a physician at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital where he developed a deep affinity for helping our wounded warriors. Following his residency, Dr. Noble joined the faculty at the University of Missouri where he served as Clinical Assistant Professor. Following his teaching career and driven by a dedication to help patients in pain, Dr. Noble went on to complete his pain management fellowship through the University of Missouri.
Upon completion of his pain management fellowship, Dr. Noble began his pain management practice in Columbia, where he has been an integral part of the medical community for over 20 years. Dr. Noble put down his roots at Boone Hospital and then flourished at Noble Pain Management. Now as part of the Columbia Orthopaedic Group, Dr. Noble and his orthopedic colleagues provide a patient-first focus to deliver exceptional outcomes. Dr. Noble has a stellar reputation for listening to his patients and truly caring for them. Dr. Noble directs his attention to each patient as an individual and develops personalized treatment plans for every patient. Dr. Noble holds a total of five board certifications, three of which are through the prestigious ACGME, these include Board Certifications in Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Addiction Medicine. Continued maintenance of these board certifications illustrates Dr. Noble's commitment to constantly improving patient care through ongoing education and continued pursuit of the most up to date evidence and training.
Based upon his extensive training and experience, Dr. Noble is able to provide his patients with comprehensive pain management. This includes a thorough exploration of conservative measures, as well as the traditional nerve blocks and spinal steroid injections. In addition, Dr. Noble has decades of experience which have put him at the forefront of the revolution from percutaneous procedures for treating pain, to more advanced minimally-invasive procedures. Dr. Noble reduces pain and maximizes quality of life for his patients with innovative procedures such as Kyphoplasty, Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (mild®), Radiofrequency Neurotomy, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Basivertebral Nerve Ablation, and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation. Dr. Noble treats pain from head to toe, including some lesser known and often unthought of conditions such as painful diabetic neuropathy.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Noble has helped to advance medical knowledge in the field of pain management as an author on multiple peer reviewed journal articles. In addition, Dr. Noble contributed medical research to a study funded by NASA which compared the dangers of extended bed rest to the weightlessness encountered by astronauts during Space Flight.
In his free time, Dr. Noble enjoys spending time with his family. He is a cyclist, and a huge fan of trains and railroading. In 2013 he started a non-profit organization called The T1 Trust to build the world's fastest steam locomotive.
