Request an AppointmentDr. Kleiber went to the University of Missouri for undergraduate education where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. He continued his education by obtaining his medical degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Kleiber completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Dr. Kleiber then completed a prestigious fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Columbia Orthopaedic Group has the only foot-and-ankle, fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeons in the region. Dr. Kleiber's practice involves all facets of foot and ankle surgery in both adult and adolescent patients. He has special interests in hindfoot reconstruction, the treatment of ankle arthritis, including ankle replacement, sports-related injuries, foot, and ankle trauma, and post-traumatic correction. He prides himself on doing his best to make sure patients understand their condition and encourages them to take an active role in their medical decision-making. He is well versed in all aspects of surgical and nonsurgical treatment.
Dr. Kleiber is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Dr. Kleiber is a native of Missouri and grew up in St. Louis. He is the proud father of two boys, David and Matthew. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, racquetball, and Missouri Tiger Athletics.
