Dr. Jones is a native of Warrenton, VA. He attended Brigham Young University, then chose to spend two years serving a church mission in the Philippines. Upon returning he felt called to continue to help people and embarked on his journey in medicine.
Dr. Jones attended George Mason University in Fairfax, VA where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology. After graduating from medical school at Marshall University, Dr. Jones performed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia. As a resident, Dr. Jones received the Allen Menard Leadership Award, the Lynn O. Litton, M.D. Resident Award for Academic Excellence, and the Resident Research Award. It was during his residency that he and his wife, Camarie, began to fall in love with Columbia. Dr. Jones and his family decided to call Columbia home after he completed his Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Jones is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). He is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. (ASSH) and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Dr. Jones joined Columbia Orthopaedic Group in 2013 and specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery.
Today in his spare time, Dr. Jones enjoys playing with his 4 kids, playing basketball, hunting, SCUBA diving, and is a pathological Washington Football Team fan.
